Loans between members, with no grey areas

When a group saves together, it can also lend to its members. Djanggi keeps every loan within the rules you have set.

Loan request in Djanggi: amount, limit, term and interest for each tier

A module that plugs into your funds

The loan module can be switched on for any fund that builds up money, such as the group's bank. No need for a separate fund.

A limit and guarantees

The group sets the limit, for example a multiple of the member's savings, and the guarantee required: a guarantor or locked savings.

Tiered rates

Interest follows rates that the group defines by bands of amount. Before sending the request, the member sees what they will have to repay.

A clear term and repayment

The term is the same for everyone, or chosen by the member up to a maximum, depending on the group's settings. Principal and interest are repaid on the due date, and early repayments remain possible.

The committee stays in charge

The member makes the request in the app, the committee grants or refuses it. If a repayment is late, the app suggests the fine set out in the rules.

Frequently asked questions

Does Djanggi lend money?
No. Djanggi neither holds nor moves any money. The loan is granted by your group, from its own funds. The app records, calculates and sends reminders of due dates.
Who decides whether to grant a loan?
