A payout order nobody argues with

Who receives the pot, and when? That is the question that starts arguments. Djanggi lets the group choose its method and keeps a record of every draw.

Drawing the payout order in Djanggi, with automatic, semi-automatic and manual modes

The group's method

Fixed order, adjustable order, a single draw at the start of the cycle or a draw at every round: the group chooses how the pot is awarded.

Three ways to draw in the app

The committee chooses how much is left to chance.

  • Automatic: everything is drawn at random.
  • Semi-automatic: the committee places some shares by hand, the rest are drawn.
  • Manual: the committee sets the order.

Or a draw at the meeting, entered afterwards

Does the group prefer to draw names out of a hat? The draw takes place at the meeting and the committee enters the result.

Every draw leaves a record

The draw is logged with its seed, approved by the chair and certified by the auditor. Minutes keep it on record.

Swaps, with the committee's agreement

With an adjustable order, two members can ask to swap turns. The swap only takes effect once the committee has agreed.

Frequently asked questions

Can a member hold several shares?
Yes. Each share is one place in the payout order, and the group sets the maximum number of shares per member.
Can a draw be run again?
As long as the draw has not been approved, the committee can run it again. Once approved, it is entered in the log.
